BiometricLabs BL1
Mobile leak detection systemA Russian hardware and software system for detecting liquid leaks in pipelines. Two vibroacoustic sensors, a mobile app, and AI processing help a service team quickly locate damage without manually interpreting complex acoustic signals.
How the system works
The operator installs two vibration sensors on the pipeline, starts a measurement in the mobile app, and sends the data to the server processing system. Correlation algorithms compare vibroacoustic signals from two points, filter noise, and determine whether there is a leak and where it is located.
Vibroacoustic data
The sensors record acoustic signs of a leak on the pipe, including weak signals against urban and industrial noise.
Correlation analysis
The system compares signals from two sensors and calculates the position of the noise source, taking account of the distance and characteristics of the section.
AI processing
AI reduces the effect of interference, helps separate the useful signal, and makes results less dependent on the operator’s qualifications.
- Suitable for water, heat-transfer fluids, process liquids, and other liquid media.
- The equipment, sensors, and software were developed by BiometricLabs in Russia.
- The system can be taken from its case, installed on the pipe, and ready to measure within a few minutes.
- The solution can be used as an alternative or complement to Enigma, Gutermann, Primayer/Ovarro, Sewerin, and similar correlation leak detectors.
