On 28 August 2026, before the plenary session of the Strong Ideas for a New Time forum, Vladimir Putin visited an exhibition of nine Russian technology companies at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair.
BiometricLabs head Alexey Frolov presented the company’s acoustic pipeline diagnostics system. According to the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the system detects leaks with accuracy to within one metre.
Technology for industrial infrastructure
The system is designed to locate leaks and monitor pipeline condition using acoustic and vibration signals. The demonstration formed part of the shared exhibition for the Znai Nashikh competition for growing Russian brands.
