There is a leak, but not its exact location.

The losses are clear, but the leak is underground and standard methods do not identify a point for excavation. Every day spent searching brings an incident closer.

One undetected leak costs about two million roubles a year

A 5 mm² hole at standard district-heating pressure results in almost 11,738 m³ of leaked water per year. Including heating, that is RUB 1,995,528. And that is one point only. While it is being searched for blindly, the meter keeps running.

Standard methods do not identify a point for excavation

Correlators react to pump and machinery noise, acoustic searching depends on the operator, and visual inspection finds a leak only after an incident. Excavating at the wrong point means direct losses.

Precise location in three minutes

Two sensors on the pipe, measurement through a smartphone app, and leak location accurate to within one metre. Installation takes seconds; operating range is −40 to +130 °C.

The neural network separates a leak from noise

Correlators compare signal peaks with a threshold and can mistake noise for a leak. The neural network is trained on Russia’s largest interference dataset and finds what competing devices miss.

Higher accuracy than the devices currently in use

Location in three minutes after several days of searching

The section had two adjacent pipes, one for district heating and one for water supply, and the source of the leak could not be identified. The leak was flooding the foundation; several days of searching with correlators produced no result. BiometricLabs located the point, and excavation confirmed it in three minutes. Each day of such a leak means tens of thousands of roubles of lost water.

Detection where imported devices indicated normal conditions

At a steel plant, an imported correlator indicated no leak. BiometricLabs located leaks—more than ten were found in four months. The imported solution identified two over its entire period of use.

Detection of an unauthorised connection

On a water-supply network, the system detected an illegal connection on a section believed to be sound. Inspection confirmed it.
